We are currently looking at a real-life application of a problem that is best solved by using cross-platform, networking techniques. The need for this type of solution was triggered by the need for a high-end OCR that, unfortunately, doesn't exist in OS/2. (For a complete description of the problem, please see the first article in this series. Last week we looked at the Hardware Connections and began to look at the Network Setup.
