Late Breaking News Items

Two new Articles added to the Reference Library.

We've added some basic informational articles on LVM (Logical Volume Manager) and JFS (Journaled File System) to the Reference Library.

These two articles were submitted for publication in the VOICE Newsletter, but didn't make the deadline for inclusion into the October issue, so we've placed them here, on the Warpdoctor site, so that users may have access to the information they contain without having to wait for the November 1 issue of the Newsletter.

VOICE has a new Server

This site (The Warpdoctor) is now hosted on a new Server hosted by VOICE.
The server is co-located on a T-1 line at an ISP in North Carolina (Red Barn Data Center), and is maintained by VOICE members and administered by Abel McClendon, Secretary of VOICE.
We've had some ups and downs over the past month or so, but we think we now have a handle on most of the glitches, and the server seems to be functioning well for the Websites and the Mailing Lists.

Once we're sure that the server is stable in its current configuration, we'll move on to add additional services for the OS/2 community in general, and for VOICE members in particular.

Thanks for bearing with us during this transition. It hasn't been easy for any of us, but it's going to be well worth the effort.

ll worth the effort.
